In My Brown Era

 Knitting has been a bit slower this week.

I have a very sore thumb. I had a hard white spot at the tip of my right thumb

that turned out to be a deep infection.

I'll spare you the details, but it is now on the right road to healing,

but is still a bit tender.

I did manage a bit on a sock and a Sophie scarf.

Pattern: (a variation on) Vanilla Latte by Virginia Rose-Jeanes

Pattern:  Sophie Scarf by Petite Knit
Yarn:  Plymouth Yarn Yakima (85% merino/15% yak)
Color:  210 Sienna

Both have been fun projects, but the yarn for Sophie? Oh my ..... it is SO soft. I know I'll be making more with this yarn. For a yarn with a bit of haze to it, it still has wonderful stitch definition.
